White Peony, also known as Bai Mu dan, is a delicate and lightly oxidized white tea from the Fujian province of China. It is made from young tea leaves and buds that are carefully hand-picked in the spring. The tea has a beautiful combination of silvery buds and light green leaves that create an aromatic infusion with a bright reddish-orange color.

White Peony has a mild and natural sweetness with subtle notes of white flowers and hints of melon. The tea has a soft and silky mouthfeel, making it perfect for those seeking a light yet complex taste experience. This tea is an excellent choice for those looking to explore the delicate and pure world of white teas.

White tea is the least processed, yet most expensive of all teas. It is produced in the simplest way possible – picked and dried.

White tea comes from the delicate, immature bud and/or leaves. Due to the minimal processing, white tea retains catechins (antioxidants) and can also have a high caffeine content because it is made from fresh shoots. White tea has the same healthy and beneficial properties as green tea. Since white tea is harvested with young leaves, it does not contain the same amount of chlorophyll as green tea and therefore does not taste as vegetal.

Organic white tea

An organic product is produced in a way that takes the environment into account by not using chemical and synthetic pesticides. It's good for the planet, but also for the tea, the farmer and you. By buying organic teas, you support healthy and long-term tea production.

NO-ØKO-01

We are proud to be the largest Norwegian brand importer of organic tea. To be approved by Debio and use the definition Organic, not only must the ingredients be certified organic, but our own plant must also be certified by Debio and controlled by Mattsilynet.

In addition to import controls from the Norwegian Food Safety Authority, we go beyond the requirements by also taking random samples for pesticides/pesticides and other pollutants.

It is important that tea is stored protected from air and light. That's why we sell all our teas packed in tight aluminum bags with a zip lock.
